Enjoys family dentistry whilst using a patient centred, calm, methodical approach, involving the patients in decisions surrounding their care. Outside of work, she has 2 young children and enjoys riding, helping at church, baking and being outdoors with the family.

I qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in June 2011 and was awarded the ‘Watssman Prize of Clinical Dental Practice’ as part of my graduation case report. I did my vocational training in Pickering and spent 7 years in a General Practice in Bradford before joining the team at Otley Dental Centre in 2018. In my spare time, I love grooming my standard Poodle and walking in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with my family.

Bhuvana graduated from Kings College London in 2016 with honours. Since then Bhuvana has worked in a wide variety of settings including community dental service, Maxillofacial unit in hospital and general dental practice. Bhuvana enjoys treating nervous patient and helping them get to the point where they can enjoy their smile! Bhuvana provides IV sedation, she looks forward to introducing it into the practice and answering any questions you might have for her. In her spare time Bhuvana likes to go on long country walks and bake cakes.

I qualified at Leeds with distinction in 2005, I then carried out my vocational training in Oxford before returning to Leeds to work at the dental institute as a senior house officer in acute dental care and the maxillofacial surgery. I completed my membership of the faculty of dental surgeons from the royal college of surgeons Edinburgh and become a locum staff grade in maxillofacial surgery. I then returned to general practice working in Wakefield, Leeds and Bradford before joining the team in Otley in 2021. I am a general family dentist and also see referrals for oral surgery.

Richard qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1987, since when he has undertaken extensive postgraduate education, mainly in restorative dentistry. In 2005 he completed the Certificate in Implant Dentistry on the world renowned, eighteen-month, One-to-One Implant Course at the University of Sheffield. In 2011 Richard completed his Master of Medical Science in Dental Implantology. Richard has undergone training from Europe’s top clinicians in hard and soft tissue manipulation, involving bone grafting and aesthetics. To date, he has successfully placed and restored over 2500 implants. He is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology and in recognition of his experience and abilities, he was made a mentor for the worlds’ number one dental implant company, Nobel Biocare. Outside dentistry, when time allows, he enjoys going to the gym, playing golf and since hanging up his boots, likes to watch Rugby!

My name is Sophia and I am a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Otley Dental Centre. I studied at the University of Leeds and gained my graduate diploma in 2017. My role at the practice involves improving patient’s oral hygiene, providing restorations, carrying out tooth extractions on children and treating gum disease. After university I gained post qualifications in tooth whitening and facial aesthetics providing dermal filler enhancements and anti-wrinkle treatments. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, going to the gym and golfing.

Hi I’m Prenna, one of the Dental Therapists at ODC. I qualified in 2017 from the University of Leeds and have worked in NHS and private practices. In 2020 I trained in advanced facial aesthetics with Derma Medical and have recently trained in skin boosters. In my spare time I enjoy pilates, going for long walks and cooking.
